Parent Link was started in the fall of 1994 by a group of dedicated parents. As stated in our charter, updated in October 2009, the purpose of BMS Parent Link PTO is to support the education of children at Bettendorf Middle School by fostering relationships among parents and teachers.

Unless otherwise stated, PTO meetings are held 6-7pm in the middle school cafeteria.
Wed, Sept 2, 2026 - First meeting of the 2026-27 school year Wed, Oct 14, 2026 Wed, Nov 18, 2026 Wed, Jan 13, 2027 Wed, Feb 10, 2027 Wed, April 14, 2027 - Nominations due for PTO officer positions Wed, May 12, 2027 - Voting of new PTO leadership team and last meeting of the 2026-27 school year Any parent or guardian with a child attending BMS is invited to attend these meetings. There are no dues or registration fees. A school administrator (associate principal, dean of students, or, most often, principal Alan Hartley) is always in attendance to give an admin update and listen to parent questions and ideas. |
Bettendorf Fall '26 Merchandise Store
Gear up for the school year while helping fund the PTO mission. Store closes Sept 7, 2026. PTO's Feed the Team Campaign We have a goal of 300 families donating $40 each by Sept 30, 2026, to cover the cost of PTO providing staff dinners during quarterly parent-teacher conferences as well as a few other food items for staff throughout the 2026-27 year. Volunteers needed for: BMS Sports Concessions M/Tu/Th 3:45-5:30pm on game days Email [email protected] for more information. Donations: Families are always welcome to drop off tissues/Kleenex or disinfecting wipes at the BMS front office during school hours. You can make a financial donation directly to BMS PTO, which is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. All profits are used to benefit BMS students, families, and staff. |
Middle School Calendar of Events
Our objective is to promote a cooperative relationship between teachers, staff, parents and students in providing the best physical, mental and social being for BMS and the community and to coordinate volunteers to assist in school activities.
